No way! boffer have alot to answer for! talk about digging their own grave...

Sorry about that guys, didn't know it was a spoof- wouldn't have posted it otherwise- though can't understand why they didn't actually put something a bit more interesting (an ipod or TV or something?)

why have they done that and do they always do it as you've put again as if to say they keep doing it if they do i'm never gonna visit that site again as they're trying to get more traffic so their advertisers will pay more and they don't deserve it for tricking people

I'm definitely NOT impressed! I ordered from them once before and it took over 2 weeks to get what I bought and the company is only about 5 miles away from where I live! I had to email them to ask them where my goods were and told them I wasn't impressed with having to wait so long to receive what I bought after all, they didn't have to wait for my money!:mad:

To be honest I think Boffer are making a huge mistake with all these "fake products".

Next time I see something good on there, I'll think "Nah, it's a spoof" and not order... even if it was a real product.

Stupid PR. Stupid company, really.

think this was some kind of joke on boffers part, they done a spoof product before august 08 and it resulted in 4 people complaining to the ASA, boffer were cleared of false advertising in january

i might be wrong but i guess this is why they have done another spoof because if like i did and thought it was 2 good 2 be true i clicked on the 'best price on the web' link and it took me to the news story about the previous spoof product

i think its a joke on boffers part maybe but what i want to know is.............who's laughing????

don't think it was a smart move to be honest and like others here and elsewhere agree the only thing they seem to have done here is turn people away.............very bad PR :doh:

I didn't! :embarasse I just thought everything they "sold" was genuine- have taken them off my bookmarks now- definitely one I will be avoiding in the future!

they had been offering free stuff all week - you just paid the postage. This was a spoof before the start of their next sell off which started tonight.

Just got myself a 20gb mp3 player for £25 quid. Those that are deleting their bookmarks and vowing never to visit the site again might miss a bargain or 2 over the next few days
