Hey helpful PPI people!

I have got results on 2 of my PPI claims!

Got my daughters back from Halifax! Great cos she,s at Uni and really needed the money! Have claimed charges and PPI and her balance has gone from 850 to 150 which she can now clear! Hooray!!

Also have just got a letter from First Direct saying they will pay me the total single sum premium and interest!! (due to the current climate apparantly although they do not agree that I was mis-sold!!) This is nearly 1000 pounds! and will pay for my dear OH to get new teeth!! Am Sooo happy!
Just have Barclaycard to go who seem to be stalling by sending a large questionaire to fill in!!

Thank you all so much. Have not posted that much but have probably read every post on here!!!

Kind regards to all ML

To all who think it cannot happen to you KEEP TRYING!!!!

    Hi ML

    Wow, Congratulations, well done !
    :beer::T:beer:

    In regards of the questionaire, its up to you if you want to complete this, but as you may note by reading through the threads, this seems to be a common thing with these questionaires now, and yes a stalling tactic, some have not completed the questionaires, but write back to tell them, if they want the information, they should still hold these details from the time they sold you the finance.;)

    They still have to investigate by 8 weeks, with or without the questionaire, good luck X

  • Just wanted to let you all know that claiming PPI's back does work. i went through it and have been awarded £3,900 + £200 in compensation, this was as a result of the financial ombudsman service getting involved. I have had the letter back and accepted the amount as full and final settlement the only thing is Lloyds TSB should have paid me by the end of March and i am still waiting!!!!!:confused:. But it's great to know the FOS are on their case cos i just keep sending them reminders via email that i havent received my money from Lloyds TSB:T. When it does eventually appear in my account i will be sure to let you all know. Now it's time to claim back my bank charges which total about £400 over the las six years!! Watch this space:money:.
