Im feeling that I missed out now. I love amazing Grace too! Ordered it on the last TSV, never tried it before but it is lovely. Loopy Girl, I am a delicate 5' 10 too. If you don't care for the Inner Grace, use it as a room spray or give it to your Nan!!!:D

I used to be hugely addicted to qvc and ended up with boxes and shelves full of `bargains`. My house became a qvc home. Then we decided to downsizeand I sold a lot of stuff on ebay and of course lost a lot of money. So no more, no way. They have the knack of sucking you in, even when you are strong willed and yesterday I watched 5 minutes and almost bought ultrasun. I switched off prtty darn fast and went online and found ultrasun at a far far cheaper price

I am also getting through my liz earle stuff at a pretty slow pace but I do like it. However, I won`t be getting any more

I used to have the qvc tsv as my homepage, pathetic really

they are brilliant sales people, aren't they? I love their beauty shows and I'm a beauty product junkie anyway so it doesn't make much for me to succumb.

what I find amazing is I can watch them selling clothes that my grandmother wouldn't wear and it's a matter of minutes before they convince me that I have to have one! But yes, I managed to resist, in case you were wondering!

Nothing would convince me to buy granny clothes off QVC, no matter how good the sales pitch!

Beauty products are another matter - I've only ever actually succumbed to the lure of Liz Earle, but when Elemis or Bare Escentuals are on I practically have to sit on my hands.

Always managed to resist kitchen gadgets too - SO FAR - I nearly gave in to a set of multicoloured kitchen knives when they were TSV a couple of months ago!

I received my Philosophy TSV on Tuesday:j

I am really loving the HIAJ spf20, it seems to be working really well with my skin which is such a relief because the US reviews i read on it were quite mixed. I'm also liking the microdelivery wash, but its too soon to tell if i prefer it to my normal purity.

I'm really regretting not ordering the Amazing Grace set now - why did i have to be so sensible (off to have a looksy round the website now though while i'm in a non sensible mood :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:)

  • I am a complete QVC addict and love the Philosophy stuff, also the Yankee Candles, Northern Nights flannel bedding, Pro-strong, Cooks Essentials stuff, YBF make up and some of the diamonique stuff too. I am lucky because I don't live too far from the QVC outlet shop where they sell all the stuff that comes back - you can get some AMAZING bargains there. The only thing is that they don't sell beauty stuff. I went last week and got a lovely pair of Markon leather boots for £2.99, a Northern Nights bed set for £10, a set of silicone bakeware for £4.30 and a JVC camcorder for £70.

I love the philosophy bath stuff as well as the HIAJ. I haven't tried the HIAJ spf stuff yet as I am still using up my open jar, but I love the new facewash.

Just got an e-mail from QVC. Laura Gellar has a TSV on Thursday. Didn't anyone tell them that I am in therapy!!! Always wanted to try this make-up though. Has anyone got any recommendations before I order.

LG stuff is really good - I got the last TSV from her (unsurprisingly eh?!!:rotfl:)

The make up is 'baked' which apparantly makes the colours better (think that was the reason anyway...my PC is in my bedroom so I had to whip through from the living room and place my order!!) and the colours are good. My make up looks more or less the same at 11pm when I take it off as it does at 7am when I put it on. I got an eyeshadow/eyeliner brush which was lovely.
There is also the eyeliner which comes in a pot as oppose to a pencil and you use the applicator to put it on and it it fabby - you could really build it up for the 'Amy Winehouse' look if you wanted!!!

And the Balance and Brighten is just amazing...it's also baked but works the same as a mineral foundation and leaves the skin looking very natutal but without the imperfections. I use Philosophy 'present' and then my LG B&B at the weekend for a natural look.

Diane60 - am loving the idea of using my Inner Grace as a room spray! Very decadent but since I'm not that keen (but could put up with a waft in the living room) then that seems a perfect idea!! Thanks

Recovering S - am v jealous you live near the outlet shop!! (actually, it;s probably a blessing in disguise!!!!:rotfl:) is the cheap stuff things people have used and sent back? or is it just a simple return and QVC don't send out returns?

Soo....guess where I'll be at midnight on Thursday then eh?!!:o:rotfl::rotfl:

Have just sprayed the Inner Grace and it has finally dawned on me what it reminds me of - parma violets!!! you know the little purple sweets you got as a kid?!!!
It's getting rave reviews on the QVC website though so I am defo in the minority for thinking it smells like an old folks home!!!!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:

Also used my HIAJ20 today - lovely stuff!! Still 'questionable' smell but it's now a creamy yellow as oppose to being pure white and it alot thicker than the HIAJ. Still glides on a treat though and absorbs really quick. I'm not fussed for either of them - I love both so when it comes to stocking up (as I will probably need to do before next TSV), it will be a case of what other products are in the collection I choose rather than choosing one HIAJ over the other
  • Bought some Liz ealrle stuff from the shop in London it was not as exciting as getting all the goodies through the door, especially when I had to pay at the till!!
