Hey everyone,
I'm going to Cambodia in January 2007 to volunteer in an orphanage, and I want to try to raise money to fund the trip and to be able to take toys/books etc for the children.
I thought I'd pick the brains of all of you money saving experts, and challenge you all to think of some interesting I could do to raise money!
Anything goes - an event, something I can do over a long period of time etc - anything!
Thanks a lot guys!

What I've done before runs in conjunction with whatever fundraising event you are planning.
Basically all you have to do is to buy a plain white T Shirt and then sell advertising space for a nominal cost say £25-50 for each space. Explain that you will be wearing it for the event, scan in sponsors logos and print to t-shirt via t-shirt transfer paper. Last time I did it we raised almost £1000 just contacting employers and suppliers, you can offer prime position or bigger logos at extra cost and more than one company want a specific position a bidding war can be created! One or two of the sponsors wanted to buy the t-shirt as well to display in their offices.
Don't forget you have the front AND back of the shirt to sell plus the arms :T0 -
