Windows Vista Firewall

Hi,

Is the Vista firewall, together with the firewall built in to the internet router, sufficient protection or should I replace the Vista firewall with another one like McAfee etc?

Thanks!

Don't use McAfee it has rubbish outbound filtering. The antivirus is also junk. http://www.matousec.com/projects/firewall-challenge/results.php
The Vista firewall should be fine but if you want a third party firewall use Pctools or Comodo both free and better.

If you want to buy a very good security suite for your pc, look at Kaspersky.

It can be found for as little as £20.00 for a 3-licence copy at Ebuyer.

As already posted there are free alternatives if you want to mix and match them.
