Item SNAD / Paypal Dispute.

I won and received last Saturday a pair of "BNWT" jeans for my daughter. I was not happy with them - firstly they were a different colour (were sold as white - they were a dirty cream) and more importantly, they were definitely *not* new, they were worn, marked and had a few significant signs of wear & tear.
Anyway, I emailed the seller right away on the Saturday morning (I was very polite) and she replied on the Monday saying she was sorry etc.... and if I returned them she would refund me immediately. Jolly good, thought me.
I returned them on Tuesday by 2nd class recorded (the same method she used when she sent them to me) and according to RM they were delivered and signed for on Thursday. I've heard nothing from her yet - I did email her last night to ask if she'd received them yet, but no reply.
My question (and point to this
) is how long should I leave it before starting a dispute with Paypal? I've never had to do one before so I don't really know how it works
but I would like to get my money back sooner rather than later and this seller doesn't seem to be a particularly "speedy" type - it took 11 days for the jeans to reach me in the first place after I'd won them!
TIA

I'd give it another day or so just to clear the weekend and then maybe consider opening a paypal chargeback early next week to 'jog' her memory.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Put in a dispute now. It would have been better to dispute before you sent it but still I would dispute now if the seller is not replying.Weight loss November 09-January 10: [STRIKE]13lbs[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]20lbs[/STRIKE] 27lbs! :j0

There is really no need to open a dispute on a seller that has agreed to a refund, I would only do it as a last resort.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. Thanks all

I'll send another email on Monday morning and if I get no response by Monday evening I'll start the process then. I take it that it's all pretty self explanatory once I go into the transaction in Paypal....... as I said above, I've never had to do this before
