Disposing of old computer

So, I have 2 old (approx 14yrs) computers that I need to get rid of. Shall I just take them to the tip? There's no personal info on them, my hubby had them when he was st school for games etc. Is it likely that anyone would want them if I put them on freecycle? - I can't inagine they would have a high enough spec for anything at all?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Someone will probably take them, yep. I'd dban the drives though, just in case. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0

Probably too ancient even for Freecycle but no harm in trying. No free lunch, and no free laptop

I think the OP is talking about something like Atari maybe, not Windows (c1995).No free lunch, and no free laptop

What makes you say that? 14 years could be 95 or 3.11, so early pentium or late 486.
Could be an ST or an Amiga I guess, but they say there's no personal info on them. A tiny amount of people with STs or Amigas had hard drives, so saying that would be a moot point.
Having said that, if they're STs or Amigas then there's much more chance of someone being interested in them. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -
Because they said he had them at school for games, just a hunch really.
As you say, probably old enough now to have some 'antique' value. No free lunch, and no free laptop
