NEXT Data Base Leak??

Hi,
I am really concerned about Next Data Base. I am not sure if anyone had this problem?
I have received few phonecalls on my mobile asking for Mr Walker, which I thought was odd. That was a couple of months ago. Then we had a message on our house aswerphone for somebody else which again I ignored and did not worry too much as it didn't say much, just to contact them. But yesterday I was sent an email with somebody's details (Name, customer number and amount outstanding!!!) and I am really worried about my details in their data base as they seem to be careless about it. I love Next and their clothes but their services seem to be really getting worse. I had some problems with deliveries, incoherent information given by customer services, wrong amounts on bills etc and now this!
They really worry me now:(
Has anyone had any odd calls or emails from them?

That is a disgrace and needs to be reported in writing.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I haven't had the same problem as you but I am about to cancel my Next Directory account because I am fed up of them! I have sent 3 e-mail complaints (on correct complaints form - that say they respond to in 48hrs) and have heard nothing after each one.
I ordered a coat from the VIP sale in dec 08 and it never turned up - then I got told by them I had returned it!? They never have explained this ........and have ignored my questions (I don't feel like a VIP customer)
I have had problems with deliveries - which I rang them about and mentioned in store (I had to return a toy I ordered which the courier dropped and left in my wheelie bin and it was broken when I got it out!) They never take complaints seriously. Their service has gone hill in the last year in my opinion. They are loosing my custom.SAHM Mummy tods (born Oct 2007) and dd (born June 2010)0 -

I know what you mean. I am getting really fed up with their customer services, very rarely I get good response and usually it takes few phone calls to get something sorted.
I reported the email but no response so far.0 -
I haven't had the problem with the phonecalls like you have received but their customer service and ordering facilities are getting worse and worse.
I have an account but I pay by credit card each time I order rather than on a directory card. The past 3 sales they have charged me for items that I have ordered but that have gone out of stock so not sent out to me. One time they even charged and sent me a £115 pair of curtains that I had not even looked at let alone ordered!
Each time they overcharge it seems to take a couple of months and a lot of hassle to get the money back. In the sale in March they have overcharged me and I'm going to give up trying to get the money back as the customer services simply do not understand my query. Every time I have queried it I have got nowhere, last time I was told it was being dealt with then they just sent me a letter saying that I had queried a parcel not being delivered and sent me a bit of a snotty letter with my signature showing a parcel that I had signed for. I have tried explaining about 3 times that I wasn't querying a parcel not being delivered, I was querying the fact that they have overcharged me but they seem unable to understand!0 -
That's funny, we often get phone calls for Mr or Mrs Walker. Usually about selling a timeshare. We presumed that they had a similar number, but it is odd, and quite annoying as the timeshare people often seem to not believe that we are them.0

I gave up ordering from Next as it usually involved hassle. I sent 3 items back once and they only credited me for 1 and it took me ages to convince them that I had sent them back. I also object to being charged for a Next Directory! I now just shop instore.0
