  • Hiya!

Woke up with my neck hurting, I must've slept on it funny. I'll go take some paracetamol in a sec, see if that helps. I'm still waiting for my tutor to call me back to confirm exactly what's happening with my placement, until then I'm celebrating not having to drive back today by doing !!!!!! all. :D

I'm also being sensible. I have £72 in the bank and a £52 phone bill coming out tomorrow. I also get a £360 uni bursary tomorrow. Since I don't know if the uni bursary will come in before or after the phone bill goes out, I'm not doing any matched betting until tomorrow. I can't wait until I can though, I can get a bit closer to paying off my Halifax card and getting that new comp. :j

this is the last time I will have to do this tho.

    fingers crossed.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

Good idea there, littlemiss, wait until you have the money before you spend it. I am 99% sure I am getting my jsa on tuesday, can't wait to throw it at some bills and get some monkeys off my back.

well, I'm back on Planet Earth...........BR, unfortunately, I'd taken co-dydramol for so many years, they weren't doing anything. About 3 years ago on holiday I asked in the Spanish chemist for something similar and she sold me, without a prescription, Co-defferalgal (sp?!) and I thought wow - this is fab! It's the fizzy tablets, a paracetamol/codeine mix. The UK co-codamol just weren't the same and I couldn't work out why, but stocked up each time I went on holiday as they are 1/3 the price of a UK prescription for co-dydramol.

Before we went on holiday this time, I asked a UK chemist what they were and she said they were the same as co-codamol, but each tablet has 30mg of codeine, instead of the UK over the counter ones which have 6mg!!! No wonder they make you go whoooooooooooooosh!!!!!! And I take 2!!!!!!!!!

I normally love the sensation (I'm guessing codeine could be quite addictive) but today was like being very drunk, probably because I had an empty stomach. Oh, and I'd taken a Voltarol as well!!

Anyway, went to my ex's to get Charlie and he gave me a ham roll as he thought I was gabbling and thought it would bring me back to earth a bit and said I should 'go home' :rotfl:

Second cake is almost ready to take with me tomorrow. Had a bit of a 'bollox' moment as it's an 8 inch cake and I've bought a 10 inch board, but my biggest tin I have to bring it home is 9 inches so the cake board doesn't fit in.......

Right, time to finish this powerpoint presentation....

BB, can you not just flip the tin onto the top of the cake?

I used to have the 30/500 co-codamol after I had Ryan (my joints fell apart and I couldn't walk for 6 months :o) and I used to take two - some days the pain I was in was so bad, they barely had any effect, but if I took them on days that the pain wasn't quite as bad, I would feel absolutely hammered. And yes, addictive, I had withdrawl symptoms when I came off them. Absolutely horrible.

that is my plan :) i'll take the cakes in the tin, build it on the board and then put the tin over the cake and pop it on the passenger seat in the car and hope I don't have to do an emergency stop :rotfl:
