Surely when he handed over his money he got the agreed price in writing?

hi the only thing he got was the car salesman card with the price on
  • Did he agree to buy it at £9995 or £9000?

you should have got an invoice stating your deposit and balance to pay

unfortunatly you cant make them sell you it at the website price, im sure that you can get your deposit back though, why dont you tell them you want it for £9k or you want your deposit back and youll go somewhere else - they wont like that

took him back to garage today and told them he wasnt happy at all explained why and said if they dint honour the first price he would go elsewhere and he wanted his deposit back they wouldnt do anything and just said that they couldnt sell the car at the £9000 they would lose money and if he wanted to go elsewhere then go and told him that they would give him his deposit back, they have lost a sale and he is looking elsewhere, thanks for your responses.
