If you need one then thats the price, if you don't then no problem.
There are many things out there that we need that are pricey but we still pay for them. Thats life unfortunately.0 -
Is £70+ really to much for a passport that enables 10 years of foreign travel, £7 a year, or less than £1 a month. If you dont want to travel you dont need one. I dont see a problem with the price
Thats fine if you plan on using it every year. What if you are only going on 1 trip or just want to take internal flights. It would seen some carriers require a passport just for this.0 -
I have been asked to produce my passport for job interviews and registering with agencies, so it's not just for people who go abroad (I've never been abroad). Also for opening bank/savings accounts.
My passport is now out of date, but good enough for ID purposes.0
