And if someone can clearly answer what a 'ORDER OF OCCUPANCY' is then its difficult to comment.0 -
I thought we had established that that letter was a fake.
Bottom line:
Either the LL is being repossessed and is pocketing as much rent as possible in the meantime
He is trying to get you out - who knows why?
Perhaps there is a divorce in the offing and the ex wife is getting an 'occupancy order'
Other than that we need Sherlock Holmes!
Aye the letter was a fake but from what the guy on the phone said we assumed we could trust such advice.

Your next 2 calls are to the LA and the lender - demand to speak to the Fraud Department at the lender and let them know about the 'fake' letter - please tell me you kept a copy!
Explain your story (make sure its less muddled than on here).
Perhaps write some notes to remind yourself of the chain of events.
