Once the auctioneer announces "SOLD", a legal binding contract has been established.
Surely the seller shouldn't be allowed to withdraw from the sale and relist just because they didn't like the price it achieved?poppy100 -
Well someone (it might be two people) have "bought" but haven't heard a peep back and are having trouble getting in touch with them0

I know, but my point is the seller and REDC shouldn't have a leg to stand on if they do pull out.poppysarah wrote: »Well someone (it might be two people) have "bought" but haven't heard a peep back and are having trouble getting in touch with thempoppy100 -
We bought at the auction, and ours has not been relisted. REDC contacted me the other day to see if i had received confirmation, which I haven't. These look like the ones that didnt sell at auction0

Thanks for the link. I was interested in one of the lots in the London auction that has not been re-listed.
I know that the company has critics, but these are the facts of the property that I researched.
Property was owned by the UK subsiduary of a US bank.
Owner went bankrupt in Feb 2008 and was discharged in Feb 2009.
All the mortgage shortfall will be borne by the mortgage lender.0 -

Hi,
We have finally heard! they were 5 days late (10 working in days in total). Now the solicitors are not prepared to move forward until they have received our deposit from REDC!
Its a nightmare and would never recommend redc to anyone!
