It's entirely true to say that BG normally fair very badly in the Which survey of energy supplier satisafaction (although not quite as badly as npower, lol). That 'score' was entirely backed up by my experience with them. Their CS are probably not wholly to blame for this - the compnay have such a bewildering array of tariffs (the bewilderment being entirely a deliderate act IMO) and supercede them so regularly that it must be an absolute nightmare for the staff to keep up to speed (probably why IME they rarely managed it).

To be fair, this is a very badly thought of industry generally (certainly the Big 6, anyway) with some of the very worst CS in any industry. Your call, lol.

Ps Their computer system certainly didn't work correctly when I used them, even though it reportedly cost half a BILLION pounds. No idea if that's been sorted out now (I believe they were suing the suppliers a while ago!).

Absolutely......that's why I try and avoid 'tie-ins' like the plague. You should always leave yourself free to get out, penalty free, if you aren't happy. IMO, of course...
