Aldi HD 5MP Camcorder this Sunday £60 - opinions ?

whizzed down to Aldi at 10.00 am, and nabbed one - they only had 4 in the whole store - had to ask the cashier, charging up now, but seems a great little piece of kit for the money, although it doesn't come with an SD card, it does come with a digital software disk for the pc/mac, and with a 3 year warranty, you can't ask for much more for £60 - looking forward to home movies of my holiday in Turkey in 3 weeks time - also in the box, pvc pouch, carry strap, table tripod, charger, connection for tv, cable for pc connection

Anyone tried theirs yet? I got one this evening - ideal size for being able to pop in a pocket or bag on days out and also at the price OK to let the kiddies loose with to experiment with movie making rather than letting them have the 'proper' camcorder that cost 4 times as much. It's charging now, will test it tomorrow!

Sprogs and Deebee, any chance you could put a sample video online somewhere? Any other thoughts about these cameras now you've tried them would be appreciated.

Well I've had mine for a while, and I'm very satisfied with the results.
