DD is being inuandated by MSN contacts telling her to sign upto this. Thankfully she asked me first as it asked for her MSN username and password and I told her no.

Some of her friends are convinced that it's real as they've had a list of people who have blocked them from the site.

they will steal the MSN username/password if you enter them into the site. i don't think you can see who has blocked you anyway even if there are millions of sites that say they can.

when i get these sorts of messages, i usually advise the contact to run a decent anti-virus program or change their MSN password

The site you tried to visit belongs to a category that your computer is set to block.
http://www.blockingyou.com/ is blocked because it is currently categorized as: Phishing

:pAlso firefox stopped me but I ignored that.

DD has been warned to never give her username/password to another site no matter how official it looks and I'm glad it's sunk in and she asked me.

One of her friends told her that people that they both know had blocked her as per the list provided by the "blocking you". I told her as they would be able to access her account if you give your username/password then they would have access to her contacts and could just give you a few randomly to make you think site legit and pass it on!
