Wonderful Costco

Well I know I have rights but I have never experienced customer service like Costco's before.
We bought a washer over a year ago and lost the receipt. It decided to break down and we decided that it was just too much hassle to try to get Costco to help out without the receipt and it was over a year old. Anyway to cut a long story short, we nipped into customer service, explained what had happened and was immediately told to return the item and collect a refund for it. We did this with absolutely no problems and bought a new washer from them for 10 pounds less.
We are both well chuffed, what is the world coming to: there was no hassle, no having to ask the manager, just clear information and help to sort out the problem. We didn't know what had hit us, forget Currys etc, Costco is now the only place for us, depending on the price of course.

Costco have your purchase history on file so can check that you did buy the item. The customer service is usually very good - as are the prices <G>0
