You can't switch supplier unless you have a supplier. If you are being supplied you have a supplier (unless it's a shipperless site). Ask the previous occupants, LL, vendor, builder who supplies the utilities. As soon as you use them (e.g. turn on a light( you will be a deemed customer of that supplier.
Best to contact them and provide your name & meter readings too, else you'll be moaning that you've been billed wrongly, or not at all, months later."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
