Who pays for bad air con regas?

Took car to garage.
Car was put on the machine, system was tested, system held pressure and the air con was regassed.
I paid and left.
Now, pressure held that day, next time I used the car, 3 days later, the system did not work.
Went back to garage, they stated there was no presure in system, refused me a refund as they said there must be a small hole in the condenser.
Should the garage refund?

Not if there is a hole in the condenser. Is there?0

Must have been a small leak to release it over 3 days, but slow enough to suggest it was sealed during the test.
You must have taken it there for a reason in the first place so it is likely you already had the leak. Maybe if they had left it connected for 24hrs they would have noticed it.0 -
I'm not suggesting you knew it had a leak, rather you took it in because it wasn't performing as it should.
edit: I've had cars for years and not had them regassed. I only regas them if the Air Con isn't performing correctly0
