Mine....oh dear, isn't it strange to see your own kitchen posted on the site!

This is the smallest kitchen I have ever had yet the most efficient. The Indesit washer is nearly 30 years old can you believe? It has survived many, many house moves, has never broken down...only needed a new door seal once. (Oh dear, tempting fate saying that I think!)

    I've been Money Tipped!

    Black Saturn,

Given the amount of cooking that you do in your kitchen you really utilise your kitchen well, you must be super organised too. Just goes to show it's not what you have got that matters but what you do with it. :-) Thanks for posting.

Mine was "inherited" when I moved in, which is why it looks dated. Haven't got the money to refurbish it, so I just dream! I hate things standing on the benches, so everything is hidden away in cupboards.

    Here goes!

    kitchen1.jpg

There's a big floor to ceiling larder style cupboard behind the door on the left, but I couldn't get that in the picture with the door closed!

    kitchen2.jpg

The door on the right of this picture leads through to the utility room. This has a long bench over the washer and dryer, which is my overflow space when I'm really busy. There's also a table and chairs, and a large storage cupboard in there.

Thanks for starting this thread. It's been really interesting and I've enjoyed seeing the other pictures.
Here I go again on my own....

I must be the only person here not to have a fitted kitchen! I have one fitted cupboard which is the undersink one, then there is the pantry, my washing machine goes under a overhang of worktop, followed by an antique french bread box and my bin. on the other side is my cooker, 2 pine shelves followed by some green painted shelving where most of my appliances sit, underneat is a three door cupboard salvaged from an office topped with a length of worktop, then my fridge freezer and then a 1950's cupboard (the ones with the flip down door at the front and 2 glass doors above that, I paid £25 for it 7 years ago and it came with the topbox too. In between the sink and the pantry is my DW and the microwave sits on top of that.
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Oooh, what an exciting thread (especially for a nosy person like me!!) :0)

I am at work at the moment so cant take a photo of mine, but since I live in rented accommodation I wont be posting a picture :0)

It is a small kitchen, but with 3 flatmates, it's only big enough for one to be cooking at a time really!!

    xx
