    I've been Money Tipped!
    Funky Fairy,

I think your kitchen is lovely. It's very well laid out etc and I bet it can be quite cosy too when you have visitors. Where's your slow cooker??? :-) Love your floor tiles BTW.

Slow cooker is ontop of the fridge. TY there was a wall between the dinning room and kitchen but my Hubby knocked it down. Its been one room for 2 years now and i love it.

jw1096 - your kitchen is really nice. Lovely and clean i love the cupboards. Thank you for sharing

Is that like one wall in the living room?, i like the under cupboard lights.

Yup, my small flat! One wall, but its wierd that it doesnt 'feel' like part of the lounge, they feel quite separate. I like the lights too, I use them all the time (probably explaining why my electric bill is high!). It probably feels very separate because its 'hidden' behind the door as you come in to the lounge and have to turn back on to yourself to see the kitchen.

The only reason its clean is because I like tidy and dont have kids - just a messy boyf! Fortunately he can wash dishes, but hasnt figured out putting things away yet, so thats still my job!

Did anyone notice the kenwood processor and slowcooker on top of the fridge, and the BM on the microwave?? I have too much kitchen stuff!

You know what I find so amazing? That we all have such small kitchens and yet we do so much in them. We don't complain that there isn't enough room so we can't do it, we just get on with it and make the most of what we have :)

I'd love to post a picture of mine, I'm really proud of how much I have fitted into such a small space but I just don't know how, I can barely use the digital camera :(

Trigger_Mike, I like your kitchen! You've got lots of cupboard space, things look like they are in their logical place and you've got a big length of worktop to work on. I'd agree with you regards the blue - maybe a v.light green or yellow would be better, open it up a little? I like the natural wood door frames too - I am annoyed with myself that I elected to have white painted wood instead of varnished in my new house. Aw well.

FunkyFairy...you have got heaps of space, lucky old you! Your floor is really smart. Actually the whole thing is really smart and modern looking. The door fronts are the same colour to my last kitchen...that was my favourite kitchen ever even though it was small.

JW - I like yours too. Small is beautiful as they say! It doesn't matter if it's small - if it does all the things that it needs to then it's perfect. I have a friend with a similar lounge/kitchen arrangment and her's too becomes a separate space.

Elvis...I was quietly stunned by your 1st kitchen, now I am quietly stunned at how funny you are.

Am going to get my camera out tomorrow and post on here soon (will do 24 hour processing cos it's £1 cheaper...)

Thanks, TBH im slowly working my way though the house painting the wood white as i don't like the varnish look, the people beforejust bodged everything and done it all on the cheap to sell. I think the dark wood make the house look small and dark, it's a 3-Bedroom 1930's house as it's not that small.
