We are going to the Italian lakes soon and I read again about being aware of bag snatchers. Last year I witnessed a bag snatch, some Italian yob on a scooter snatched the bag of a lady walking a short distance behind us. Several years ago my bag was stolen in holland by distraction thieves and it happened so quickly and silently
There isn`t a safe in the room of the second hotel so I have been doing my research and have bought pacsafe bags. A little black bag from argos that can be worn cross the body or around the waist and will be very practical for my dh to wear. A larger bag for me called a dailysafe H200 and also a pacsafe, a safe that can be fastened to anywhere in the room, while we are out. Just be aware of sneak thieves, they move like lightening. Now I will be able to clip my bag to my seat while I am eating out
It is very very traumatic when the bag carrying the important stuff gets stolen. We split everything between us anyway but I feel that we can both enjoy our holiday with easy minds now
What are your experiences away and at home?

A friend has just come back from Italy and says she kept all her cash in her bra. :rotfl: I thought you could get small bags which would tuck inside your blouse.Signature removed for peace of mind0

I think that's a great idea! Those bras with the fillets in, you could take the fillets out and use as a purse :cool:

I wish I needed fillets :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
ahhh a pocket in the knicks, now I like that. No one would pinch my knicks, even if I forgot to take the money out0 -
