:T Fabulous gesture from Scottish Power! My old mum rang them to ask if she could pay her electricity bill early as she's going in to hospital. They sorted it all out very swiftly and helpfully yesterday. Today an enormous bouquet of flowers was delivered by courier and a note from Phillip of Scottish Power wishing her warmest regards and get well quickly.
I don't think my mum will ever change from Scottish Power whatever the price of electricity!

I'm glad to hear of your experience and I hope your mum is better soon. Congrats to SP for showing a human face.
Sadly I had an appalling experience with them which ended in me taking them to the ombudsman. I won, despite the lies and underhand tactics they used from day 1 until the final decision from the ombudsman...I was appalled that a huge company could behave in such a way. That said, during the process I did speak to a couple of people from SP who were nice and tried to help.0 -
