Reducing images

Anyone.....do you know how to reduce any given image by pixels.....I have an image I want to use on my username for this site...but it says the pixels are too big.....novice.....I know!!!

You can easily do that task using Irfanview using the Image, Resize/Resample option. This is a really great program and it's also free!
