    Is Kaspersky upto date?

Tick to FIX these using hijack~
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyOverride = *.local
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {02478D38-C3F9-4efb-9B51-7695ECA05670} - (no file)
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file)

    Please run COMBOFIX
Follow the simple instructions it gives
Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be)

If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe')

  • Thankyou aliEnRIK - please bear with me, I am a techno thickie...

When you ask if Kaspersky is up to date, I have Kaspersky Anti Virus 6.0 for windows workstations, signatures date: 16/04/09 - is this ok?

    When you say:

do you mean I should open the log, tick those then click FIX?
  • I would re run Malwarebytes, BUT first I would update it as you are some 50 definitions out the current set is 1995.
