You're like a terrier with a bone - I'm impressed, as I think he'd get me going as well, and I'd definitely grass him up - on whatever philosophical grounds you care - yes, it probably is because of the way he's treated you, but there seems to be a case to answer there, and if the stuff has been stolen, then there's others out there who've had a lot worse treatment from the delightful pair.

It was quite easy to trace them via the net because of their unusual names.

After all how many people are called

Mr Spartacus Van Der Land and Mrs Alice N. Van Der Land?

I've made the names up by the way, just in case someone really is called this:D

At this stage, I have requested contact details from Ebay so that I may issue preliminary papers for making a civil claim in the small-claims court. Ebay have replied along the lines of "We want Ebay to be a safe and reputable market-place for buying and selling goods but under no circumstances will we give out addresses. Please get your solicitors to write to our solicitors in Dar-Es-Sallem or etcetcetc" . I have gently but firmly pointed out that the court is called the "small claims court" because it for, er, "small claims" without the necessity of employing lawyers! Methinks, this is a waste of time! but I am learning.

I can start the official Ebay procedure on 20 April for Ebay to start trying to reconcile this. I might go ahead with this but more probably I will have found others windmills at which to tilt by then.

But no, I have not bubbled these blokes. After all, chaps and chapesses, this is not the British way, is it?

I know it is late at night, but I think that I may have been too obtuse with:

Mrs Alice N. Van Der Land
