We only had to wait one day for the call but the telephone interview was scheduled for the end of the following week. They will vary on how busy they are i guess.

We also went BR last week (Wednesday) and have not had our OR interview yet.

We had a brief call for a clerk asking a few basic bits of info and if we having any pressing debt issues (ie baliff coming) and said that someone will call with 2 weeks to arrange a time for the OR interview.

Its been pretty uneventful since going BR.

Had a letter today from my main creditor saying they won't except my token payment until I get a job and will basicailly charge me interest, late fees, pass my account to the collection dept. etc etc... very helpful, couldn't help but smile to myself at that one.

Oh and my wife go a pre-approved loan letter form the same company on the same day. She is a housewife with no job but apparently can have £13,500??? she also went BR so I guess it takes some time for the credit files to update... we did joke between ourselves about calling and saying "I have no job", "went BR last week", "have no bank account to pay the money into or setup a DD" is it still ok to have the money? :o)

we have been BR since Mar 31 but have still not had the OR contact us. We have had to contact them to ask questions about pressing issues and when asked when we would get any contact was told that our files were being prepped and it might be a few weeks.

Seen my ad in local papers already and am getting concerned about assets listed as although they are individually under 1000 in value it still means that they are "not mine" and I dont feel that I can use them how I would normally (like my pc)

mine was 6 weeks but that included the xmas holidays.
Really it was a little bit stressful but make loads of notes, have your SOA handy, get the dates and amounts of everything written down.

I read a post on here that said 'dont waffle' and i think its true!

My OR was very nice, formal and efficient but really nice.

Apart from a brief chat on the court phone after my BR was declared, I waited 10 days for any communication from the OR office and 6 weeks for my interview. Then, the guy didn't go to work that day and it was postponed for another 48 hours!
    Very busy office!

  • Think I waited about 2 weeks for mine, longest two weeks of my life! It is hard not to think about it and such a relief when it's over..

So to all of you waiting, I hope your time comes soon and good luck

I think we probably spoke to the same clerk given we're under the same OR - we were told exactly the same thing! And I'm yet to hear about the interview too.

It *could* happen quite quickly though - my friend who also went BR the Friday before we went, in the same court as me, had his phone interview on Wednesday so it may well be early next week. But I guess these things are never certain are they.

Be good if it was, I just want to know what's going to happen with my stuff!!! My friend was asked for a year's worth of statements and apparently the OR was really easy going.
