Google maps slowww loading

The last two weeks google maps have been loading extremely slowwwwly on both firefox and internet explorer, cleared cache on both broswers and still no joy, any advice on any solution to this probelm would be greatly appreciated.

Probably their UK-feeding servers taking a hit since they added UK street view to it.
Can't say I've noticed it being much slower, having said that.They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0
