Just been looking for information on Twycross Zoo and came across this website offer. Visit any 3 of the 5 attractions listed for just £50, 2 adults 2 children. Not bad as day entry to Twycross Zoo is £33 so another 2 days out for £17!
http://www.stayplayexplore.co.uk/
Twycross Zoo
Conkers
National Space Centre
Snibston
Twinlakes park
Apparently you can also combine this offer with a one night stay for £99 but havnt looked into that myself.

re above post i live about 10 miles away from the zoo,if nice dry/sunny day its a fab day out for the family, lovely areas for picnics too
battle of bosworth field about 3 miles from there
bosworth watertrust park about 3 miles from there you can camp there not sure of fees, booking advisable
bosworth battleline-shackerstone-shenton(steam specials, events) at shenton place called whitemorrs, bit of antiques/collectables/plants -has lovely gardens you can sit out in with a brook running alongside and eat to die for homemade cakes (and savoury diners/soups)
theres a brittania hotel there-bosworth hall hotel(sometimes has deals on last minute.com)which would be a good base for a weekend as space cente about 16 miles(never been sorrycant comment),and conkers about10 miles,(not been for 3/4 years so was best on drydays) fab day out, and snibston is about 8 miles away again a good family day out sorry for long post0 -
