esa meeting tomorrow

Hi,
i have to go for an meeting tomorrow as i am claiming esa contribution based.
my company is keeping my job open for me, after numerous hr visits at home, occupational health telephone interviews, waiting for a occupational doctor intverview
i have been off work since august 2008, i have had a back operation in august, then further major spinal surgery january 2009.
i have ben to see my consulant who has told me to refrain from work until he sees me again in 6 weeks.
I can hardly walk without having to rest, cant sit for long, cant lift ,bend or if i do any activiity get severe back pain.
I have a very good job with a well known company, i would go back to work tomorrow, but i know im not fit.
I am receiving £60.50 thats all, this is really upsetting when all i want is to get back to work.
my company has been sympathetic but wont create a job or work for me until i am ready, also they will assess me to see if i can do the job.
Whyis this meeting needed, whats it for???, ive been told i will have to see a doctor !!!,
i am not a sponger.

You have to give out to see he departmental doctors as well. Some GP's are willing to give out sicklines for anything and anyone.

Everyone has to go to these meetings whether employed or not, its procedure so take along any recent paperwork from your employer and see what happens.
