Can I off set this against my tax liability?

Off to Italy next weekend to checkout some new outlets.
Normally I travel there and back in a day but this time, due to flights/routes, I'm staying over and the OH is coming.
Can I claim the full cost of both flights and the full cost of the hotel against my tax? I usually claim for flights, car hire, tolls and milage.

"Reasonable" is the key here - and from my own experience I have successfully claimed a European long weekend break as a business expense, although I did only put down one of the two flight tickets, but the hotel was priced per room, and not per occupant. I submitted one main meal for two per day, rather than every time I put my hand in my pocket.
As a one off, no auditor (if you are ever audited,) would raise an eyebrow. As a monthly event, you'd be pushing it.
My accountant did give me a good bit of advice on this - "If it was one of your good employees, how far would you let them go on your company expenses?"<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
You might struggle to claim your OH's part of the trip against tax unless they are employed in the business.0

I also think it would be reasonable to claim your costs but not your OH's.They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
