Hi all, looking around for the car insurance which is due next month. Last year we were able to pay up front but can't this year. Does anyone know of a company that doesn't add a charge/ interest onto monthly payments?
The quotes are coming in quite high as OH has 3 speeding endorsments over the last 5 years and a high annual mileage.
Any advice much appreciated.
Many thanks, chloecat xxx

There are a couple of companies that do not charge for instalments, however in reality the premiums are loaded to cover the costs of this. Your best bet with three speeding convictions is to find a decent deal on the insurance and then look at the instalment charge as the chances of one of the companies that offer "free" instalments being the cheapest are quite remote.
If your husband needs his licence for his job a policy with this company might be worth considering which covers taxi fares or hiring a chauffer if you lose your licence from totting up

You may have heard about the term from someone else or through those many advertisers in car forums. This is how it works ...
Some insurance companies charge a fee for each monthly payment if you do not pay in full for the policy.
This fee usually covers the cost of processing your payment on a monthly basis. To avoid paying this monthly service fee, you can pay in full when you buy your auto insurance policy.
With CarInsurance.com you can always make paymetns on your policy. The only exception is when the state requires a paid in full policy (some SR-22 policies).0 -
