                    I'm looking for the above.
I currently have a Lexmark but the Ink cartridges are expensive and cheap versions aren't available.
I've see a HP Photosmart C4585 All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Copier also an Epson Stylus SX200.
Can you recommend either or an alternative.
I'd like a wireless printer as I've a laptop and it's inconvenient to keep connecting the cables.
Thanks

Hewlett Packard are by far the leading brand for affordable printers, and you'll be able to find a reasonably priced one somehwere.
Dell Printer and a HP Printer
Hope that helps. Personally, I'd spend the extra and go for the HP one.0

HP get my vote, I use a HP Photosmart C7280 and have been very impressed with it.0

You could buy a network capable printer i.e one with an Ethernet interface, wire that to your router and you can print from any computer in the house.
I've an HP6280 which works quite well, its been superseded now though. That gum you like is coming back in style.0

            Hi ,
apparently Dell are rebadged Lexmark printers, owning a Lexmark X4650 myself I have realised how expesive this machine is to run, apparently the Kodak esp7 is a good machine on low ink costs providing you get a reliable one, steer clear of Epson as refilling their cartridges and getting them to work is tricky. HP seem to have a good reputation as do Canon for cheaper running costs.I must, I must, get my post average up to 1 a day!! 0 0

I'd like to where you get that from HP are no better, cheaper or worse than most of the other vendors. They subsidise the cost of the printer with the cost of their ink carts and you can't use 3rd party ones because they have the print head int hem leaving only refills or originals. Also HP only supply limited use carts with their printers so factor in new carts almost immediately on buying a printer.
We have an Epson RX500 all in one I got for free in 2005 and has only ever had 3rd party carts in it a set of 7 carts costs me around £5 and they're flawless.
I would recommend an Epson printer as the ink carts are just little tanks of ink with no print head and this makes the availability of very cheap carts good.0

I would go for the Kodak one that's being advertised on the TV (basically, look at how much the Ink costs and how much ink your getting).
I'm not too sure you need a wireless printer, is there any reason you don't want it connected to a computer?
HP ink costs around £40 per cartridge and their newer printers make use of tiny ink cartridges, I've always found when it comes to computer goods - make isn't a deciding factor as inside they use the same components as any other manufacture.0

google: C6380.ANURADHA KOIRALA ??? go on throw it in google.0

The problem is that you cannot guarantee that ink prices will stay the same. Each manufacturer is changing their prices so rapidly. One manufacturer increased their prices by 54% overnight - they simply sent an email to those in the trade at 4pm the day before (I work in the trade).
For cheap running costs however, Canon and Epson have consistently been good at low cost cartridges as well as generally good availability.
Avoid Kodak and Dell, if possible.0

The HP C7280 also has duplex printing facility if that feature would be useful.0
