Speaker Help

Hi Guys :beer:

Just bought some Mikomi AM216 5.1 Surround Sound Speakers :j

Got home and found that something wasn't really right - No Sound

If anyone can help me and explain how I connect these to a Samsung 932MW

Chances are that you're going to need some sort of convertor, it all depends on the type of outputs/inputs. My friend has the Samsung pebble, and the audio out for that is only singular I think.

When buying audio, always make sure you television is compatible, which with yours, I don't think it is, unless you have component inputs to your 5.1 audio, then I doubt it is, I know that with home theatre systems, you just - for example - plug the two audio outs (white/red) into the rear of that and it converts it to 5.1/7.1, however looking at the Mikomi AM216, you need six, which is something you're unlikely to find.

It'd be really helpful if you could post a few pictures, some of the back of your TV, and some of the back of your speaker system, then I'll be able to give a nice, detailed explanation on how to sort this out.

One more thing, what are you trying to connect?

The speakers do not include a decoder. Has your tv got an integrated 5.1 decoder? if not you ned a seperate decoder.
