parking charge

I received a parking ticket from Euro car parks in my local supermarket, and did not realise this was a new rule. Anyway, fair cop, i was not parked in a designated bay. The ticket issued had not been hand written with my car details or times etc. Is this ticket a legal document. Should the attendant have filled out this ticket by hand, as was not the case here.

No. It's a scam, supermarkets can't legally fine anybody. Don't pay and don't contact them.kay_london wrote: »Is this ticket a legal document. .
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -
Ignore it totally - this is not legal and nothing more than an unenforcable private invoice so you don't have to hold your hands up to anyone.
Don't contact them as all that will do is confirm your identity to them and don't respond to any of their increasingly hysterical and threatening letters, which may include threats from recovery agents - they get the vehicle keeper details from the DVLA.
They will eventually give-up & if you search down this forum, you will find Euro Car Parks discussed in some detail.0
