I think I won - advice needed - I DID WIN £500 Virgin Vouchers!

I had a winner's text on Saturday from the Jaffa Cakes text comp here posted by princess pixiedust saying someone would be in contact in 2 working days..........its 3 days later and I've heard nothing. I can't find a number to call for the promotion and really want to know if I have won. I tried emailing Virgin Experience Days to ask if they knew anything but haven't had a reply :cool:

Any ideas as I'd love to know if I can start whooping for joy :jor not Don't think I've seen any other winners for this comp but I could be wrong - wouldn't be the first time :rotfl:

UPDATE - finally got confirmation today and should get the vouchers in a week. Just in time for my birthday :j

I won from a text comp last week (different company) and the text said I would be contacted within 7 days. I hadn't, so I called the company concerned and they told me that there were a few winners that hadn't been contacted by the promoter. They took my name and number and I had the call this morning. So I'd give the company or the promoter a call just to let them know that you're still waiting.

Just checked my jaffa packet and the promoter is united biscuits, Hayes, Middlesex and as rosegarden says perhaps a call to them may chase things along a bit for you.

Thanks guys I ended up googling a number for UB as there was nothing on the website and ended up going through to Consumer Services where a nice woman took all my details and I have her name and number just in case. So fingers crossed I get to hear soon!

I won from them on the first day of the comp and they phoned the same day I got the text. I think it was this number that they phoned from: 0207 4711 900

The woman at UB called back and its gone to the correct dept now - but their contact is on holiday........so waiting to hear something. Probably next week though. Kinda frustrating!
