How is anyone meant to live on £24.80 a week? My other half has just received a letter to say that is what he gets. He's 48 and isn't the amount meant to be £60.80 or something?

I assume you work, or he has savings? If so, you will be assessed as a couple, and you will be expected to support him (as couples do).Gone ... or have I?0

There should be a letter explaining how the figure has been calculated.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.

will have to find out what exactly is in the letter.
He lives with his sister, nephew his girlfriend & her 2 kids. Will they look at everyone in the household when working it out?0 -

I would think that he would be classed as single for JSA claim, unless he made a joint application.Ermutigung wirkt immer besser als Verurteilung.
