Long time lurker now looking for help

I have just been turned down for a LOB transfer by IF and also informed by my CC that they cannot offer to transfer my cc to one with a better rate.This one is with Lloyds TSB at 21.9 % Can anyone suggest what I can doto bring this down?

I can only suggest you have a long look at the other related articles written by Martin and then read throught the forums relating to LOB credit cards to try and pick up information that relates to your circumstances.
It is difficult to suggest anything more constructive at this time as you haven't provided any background information about yourself or your credit history.
Also consider getting a copy of your credit report through experian etc and see if there are any missed payments etc on the report that could adversely affect your credit applications.Too many applications for credit cards or loans/bank accounts within a short period of time WILL effect your credit rating.The only way to improve this is to fully understand the credit card shuffle and related credit rating articles so that the problem is avoided in the first place.This involves lots of reading to understand it fully but is worth the time and effort.
Once you are better informed with this information you may well see what to do next.
