Help! Worried about a car insurance settlement offer

The other drivers were identified because my neighbour and a man walkin gby wrote their details down. Neither of the two vehicles who caused the accident actually left a note on my car or attempted to get in touch.
I've asked a few questions and hoping to get a reply from the insurance co. If the worst came to it, could I ask them to repair the car and claim back from the other two once liability is sorted?
