    On the same type of driving over the past 8 years I have achieved an average of:
    Rover 214 (high mileage engine) 38mpg
    Seat Cordoba TDi (new to high mileage) 54mpg
    Focus 1.8 TDCi (new) 50mpg
    Skoda Octavia TDi(sky high mileage) 55mpg
    Skoda Fabia TDi (high mileage) 58mpg

    Needless to say I dont intend going back to petrol, and it would take a big lever to prize me away from the VW sourced engines.
