Bookie - that's the trouble with the written word, it came come across as more meaningful than it was meant sometimes... whether that be sadness, sarcasm or stupendous wit!!

I think we thought that you were giving us a final farewell and never coming back to the forum...

I'm glad you posted yesterday if it made you feel better than sitting at home stewing, but not if it slowed you down and you achieved less in your day because of it....

i hope you manage to cut yourself some slack missus, you're coping with more than a person should need to... and coping on yer own is harder...

what are your plans for today?

    morning all others!
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

  • I also need to really tackle the money issues. My main worry last night was 'how do I pay another bill?'.
I need to do an SOA.
I need to ask BB about AQAing - maybe that is something I can do at work.
I need to do more surveys and clicks etc - it's boring but it does bring in a bit extra.
What is this daily scratchcard lark?

Ooops - there I go with a list again!

Spudley, its all about Positive Influencing and how your thoughts really can change things. Someone on here introduced me to it does work. Let me know as well ok ;)

  • I'm at work today Maz.
Then I have a meeting in Leicester tonight.
I need to write a couple of reports and process some bookings for Guiding events.

That list is an attainable one, Bookie, but what you've said about being too hard on yourself and negative is totally true. I kept a lot of worries and stuff from my friends because I didn't want to be told it was my fault I was in this mess, only to find that I was the only one who thought like that.

JSA is going to give me money, first payment on Tuesday the 21st, which is my 22nd birthday. So I am now sat here thinking of an effective way to use it.

In other news, my mum is moving in with my older sister away from my dad, so my parents have effectively just seperated after being together for 23 years. Eek.
Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. Middle child of middle child parents. I drink way too much coffee.

  • ok totally off topic but... anyone know how I can order from simply yours without having an account. Long story short, Mum was buying me some new nightdresses (my sister gave me one of the same for xmas) for my birthday 31/12/08 so my older sister was going to get them for her. I still dont have them as older sis is a pita! However it states this is the how to pay ~
If you do not have a credit account, you will see the message ‘Please add credit card details’ when you first arrive at the checkout.

But when I get to the checkout it states we may do a data check at credit referenace agengies  To me that says I am opening an account.
