You must have a "homely" home Spud, a one where kids feel comfortable which is cool to them.
All of my friends and OH used to love to come to our house when I was still at home, we had nowt but there was always something going on and Mam always made our friends feel welcome.
One of my friends has a house like a palace and I used to be scared to sit down in there:eek: she had blummin Lladro ornaments everywhere and I was convinved that one would just jump off a surface if I walked past it.But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.0 -
I agree Lou.
and LLadros *yuck* (not my thing-dust collectors)Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
Definitely what Lou said Spud, it's about a clean and "homely" home. Palace houses aren't good and neither are pigsties. Must mean you have a nice balanceNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130

Well, it's very much a home, not a house Lou. There's no taking shoes off when you come in or owt like that
Most of the mates families have never struggled like we do, this is quite a well off area. Not sure why we're here
One of DS's friends thinks our car is the best ever. It's an old R reg, with heaven knows how many miles on the clock (we dont know coz that bit on the dashboard is broke)
I just dont get it. All these kids have better cars, nicer houses, yet they love to come here. Maybe they like to see how poor people live :rotfl::rotfl:
Oh, and Lladro - yukkkkkIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:
