Hello friends,

I am cyst free (was mahooosive! Dr showed me *euw*) but have a very sore head, pink hair and 3 stitches. Was ordered by Dr to go home and rest-a medicinal galaxy on the way home as well...

I am a great believer in the power of positive thinking...

:rotfl:your younger sister sounds like mine. Glad to hear you and your dad are now getting on better. My father left my mother when I was 13 so never see him. After they split I saw him once at his 'girlfriends' house to watch a movie of them on holiday. Then the next time I saw him was when I served him in work, he didnt even reconize me untill the transaction was complete. I saw him last at my grand dads graveside, he didnt acknowlegde me. My nan has now died and they were the only ones keeping the family together so now he has no reason to stay in touch. However my sister see's him every week and he has even worked on her car :rolleyes: Obviously she has forgiven him for destroying my mum, leaving her £35k in debt (he had it planned and went BR before he done the dirty) and removing all her self confidence... However I wouldnt have my life any other way now, I certainly wouldnt be where I am now if he was still around ~ every cloud has a sliver lining :j

Ps, mum is now debt free except the huge loan which is status barred, she has a job she loves and is way more confident that she ever was with that loser

I'd consider the X Type estate, Mondeo, or even Skoda Octavia 4x4..already have a Landy,911 and Lotus Elan (old) knocking around so I need a "sensible" motor!
(Luckily,DH is handy with cars so he'll to the bushes when back from BKK)

Well if you ever crunch the front of the 911, my 72 VW Camper would like the engine and drive train:D

Congrats on the cyst free-ness there, Bunny!

PAP - I kid you not that the last time my younger sister called me, it was to ask me if I would send her a picture of myself to show her boyfriend. I was a little rude to her because she rang while I was dying on the couch from tonsilitus and it hurt to talk, but oh well. I've seen her since then, she popped round to my older sister's for a bit to say hi last time I was staying over. I do miss her and love her to bits, but I can only take her in small doses. Same with my dad for the most part. Told my mum she should move up here with me.
