Please turn the switch to "L"(low sensitivity) position when the environment light is too strong to amke misbell. On the contrary, turn the switch to "H"(high sensitivity) position when the environment light is too weak to lead sometime ring and sometime no ring. Turn the switch to "OFF" when it is not in use.

I experienced a similar problem last year. Try copying all the files to your computer (to preserve them) then formatting the card. That worked for me.
