2 cars- how cheapest to insure?
hi, not sure whether best to put this on the insurance board or here... a bit of advice would be most appreciated :A
getting another car at the weekend, but will be keeping my present one for another month or two. quickly checked out the temporary insurance deals and they seem really expensive...
anyone ever had the same problem? do you think it might be better to put the cheaper insurance group car on a new policy with 0 no claims (you cant use your no claims on 2 policys right?) and just cancel when needed? or does anyone know of a cheap temporary insurance company?
any help most welcome- thankyou!

I've just took out an extra 28 days on our last car after changing over to a new car through my current insurer (admiral multi) and paid £32 for tpft cover.
Have you asked your own insurer?
We already extended by 14 days at a cost of £20 previously(hoped to have sold it by now but needs work for MOT).0 -

on the upside, just got some quotes back for starting a new policy on the cheaper car with 0yrs no claims and the cheapest was £33 deposit, £27 monthly. so either £33 for 1 month overlap, or £60 for 2 (will check out the cancellation fees though)We cannot change anything unless we accept it.
