What's the current best long term fix you guys have spotted for us 75%ers out there?
The post office 5 year fix still seems to be online, despite them telling me that the rate was to change yesterday.
Maybe that'll be gone by Monday too.
What's with al the rate pulling all of a sudden?
4.99% 10 yr fixed rate from Coventry B.S. - > Oops, that was from memory, I'm either wrong or it has changed. Now showing as 65% ltv for this deal.
I was speaking to a client the other day who works for Barclays Commercial, internally they expect rates to go up quite quickly to 4.5% over the next 2-4 yrs.0 -
First time posting on this site but used it for quite a while.
I am looking for a remortgage, about 75%ltv but maybe upto 85%, depending on what they value my flat at. The best rate I seem to be able to find is rbs @ 5.71%
Is there still better deals out there? I notice that some of you guys are stating some mortgae deals are being pulled from the market? Here to help and be helped!0 -

I always use the mortgage comparison tables on the FSA website. Hope this helpsTrying_to_be_good wrote: »Is there a website that will list the best buys for, say, 5- and 10-year fixes? I can only find the 'normal' best buy tables, that you set for best value over five or ten years, but are totally skewed by the 2-year deals that revert to currently low SVRs.
Any help gratefully received!0 -
I always use the mortgage comparison tables on the FSA website. Hope this helps
Brilliant - just what I was looking for. Thanks!
This is the website, if others are interested: www.fsa.gov.uk/tables, and choose 'compare mortgages'. You enter details on the sort of mortgage you're looking for, house price and size of mortgage, but not salary details.Mortgage Free thanks to ill-health retirement0
