Packaging golf clubs

Hi guys, got some golf clubs for sale on ebay that end tomorrow,

Was wondering if anyone had and good ideas on how I could package them to make sure they don't get damaged in the post.

Lashings of bubble wrap should be good but won't stop the club getting bent if something heavy is put on the middle of it.

Cheers

Well if you get a long box (golf clubs are often delivered to shops in long boxes) and line the box with polystyrene sheets as well as well wrapping the clubs in bubble wrap. My OH packs lots of delicate items and this way works for him.
    Hope this helps

We bought some golf clubs from ebay, one guy sent them with the head of the golf clubs in a shoe box and then bubble wrap and newspaper around the handle and shaft enclosed in a bin liner. They arrived perfectly and it seemed to work if a but unorthadox.
Another guy sent them in those boxes you get with fruit in at supermarkets, he had cut the inner ends off two boxes, laid the gold clubs down and folded the rest of the box round them and then used heavy duty brown tape to hold it all together. That was good and safer, but it will cost more for postage due to the weight of the boxes. I must admit I preferred the second one, and if I was selling them that is the method I would have used.

Go to your local supermarket and ask for a box.

I know we take delivery of long oblong boxes all the time, for things like Mops etc.
