Ryanair charge for boarding pass re-print

Dear MSEs,

I was flying by Ryanair from Dublin to London this week. I opted for onilne check-in to avoid airport check-in fees. I did my check-in for both outgoing and return flights in advance. However I forgot to take the printed boarding card to the airport. Once in the airport I tried to re-print the boarding card from the internet cafe. But Ryanair's website didn't allow me to do so because it was less than 4 hours to the flight. So I went to the ticket desk and asked for a re-print. To my disbelief, the agent asked me to pay 20 Euros for reprinting one page of A4! :mad: My discussion with the agent didn't resolve the matter so I paid the fee using my credit card.

Have you had this experince with Ryanair? Is there anything that I can do to recalim the money?

No. But I've never forgotten my boarding pass...

Rules is rules, I'm afraid. Not fun when it happens to you, but its these excessive 'fines' that allow them to offer the 1p flights.

There's no chance of a refund, and no point in taking it any further. Don't even waste your breath. One to put down to experience, I'm afraid.

You've answered your own question... You forgot your boarding pass so they had to check you in manually at the airport. How would it be fair for them to give it to you for free but for anyone who knew they wanted to check in in the terminal to have to pay for it?
