Hi Dawn
It's a good idea to talk through new ideas, as setting up in business requires quite a bit of research and planning if you are not to lose money.
https://www.nfea.com gives details of your nearest Enterprise Agency and they will usually give free advice and training. They will also know about any local grants or other support. Online you can look under Finance and Grants through https://www.businesslink.gov.uk. Lots of great guidance here too. Perhaps also look at your Local Authority's website- usually Business Development, and call your local business link.
If you are over 50, there is https://www.primeinitiative.org.uk, which is the Prince's Trust equivalent for the middle-aged!
If you have any probs, email me with your address and I will try to obtain some phone nos. for you.
Good luck!0
