Tesco CC

I've just been accepted for the above card (woohoo) and was wondering if anyone knows how long it normally takes to to get the card?

Also how do the clubcard deals work? I.E I hope to use points towards a holiday with Virgin.....do I let the point build up or do I cash in every month?

Thanks

(hope this is the right place for this!)

Remember they could still decline you in a few days as they do additional checks.... did it give you a message at the end with a weird code like HMK89FXC009 or similar? OR did it say we'll send your card etc....

Hopefully you got accepted, if so 7 days should be plenty

Great so instant acceptance.... good for you. You should get it by next Tuesday - they are actually fast! PLUS if you do it online then you won't need to wait for PIN either.

Out of interest can you tell what your limit and apr was? I got offered 17.9% with 3 grand limit but then they wrote and said no a week later

I noticed that the card they were offering in store is a Mastercard not Visa. I seem to remember that Mastercard sign is not as good as Visa when it comes to paying out when things go wrong - was on a watchdog programme I think. Does this ring a bell with anyone else?

Yea but they do, its the credit card itself. Don't worry, mastercard have same rules as visa. Its more to do with maestro (part of mastercard) whereas visa debit cards are still visa.

There are threads on here about this, have alook at the last 5 pages as it was within the last 3 days or so....

Yea plus people forget about DSR when they buy online, this supercedes s.75 CCA for obvious reasons..... and it offers enhanced services unlike s.75
